Do you ever make popcorn on the stove?
I have been making it this way for a couple of months now, and I have to say, I like it much better than microwave now!

my dad makes it all the time...it smells so much better than microwave popcorn and tastes a million times better.

My Dh makes it on the stove. And he takes a lot of pride in his popcorn - he gets a little crazy about the "right" amount of oil and popcorn

I love making it on the stove. I make it in a big old stainless steel pot. I salt the oil (peanut oil), add the kernels and get to shaking! The kids LOVE getting the popcorn in the little cardboard popcorn buckets and it is way tastier!

DH makes it this way sometimes. I hate the smell when he makes the microwave popcorn.
