Mexico in October...
I know it's the end of Hurricane season -- just trying to get some feedback from people that HAVE gone in October....

we took a cruise in October to the Mexican Rivieria which is on the West coast and didnt have any problems with hurricanes.

Speak to KimPetro - her HM was in Mexico in mid-October alsmot 4 years ago and they were caught in a horrible hurricane.

We went to Isla Mujeres (island off Cancun) for our HM in early October 2005. It rained a lot first three days. At least it was warm and it didn't stop us from swimming, scuba-diving and exploring the island. The last 2 days were nice, didn't come home with much of a tan though.
We missed that hurricane that the OP mentioned by a few days. That hurricane destroyed the beach and bridges that our hotel had.

Yup that was me. Good times.  You will get an awesome deal during hurricane season. The chances are pretty slim to get caught in something like we did. Just get the cancel for any reason insurance in case a tropical storm is swirling nearby.
Where are you thinking about staying?

We went to Cancun the third week in October last year and the weather was bad. We were only there for four days and had one nice day. They had had so much rain before we arrived that everything was soaking and so humid.
