I am so sick..and I'm whining a little.

I started coughing a little on Friday, ithe coughing blew up yesterday I ran to the GP after my transfer, I was afraid I had bronchitis. I even emailed Sandra from Dr. B's office b/c I was afraid I would dislodge the embryos from my uterus b/c I was coughing so hard! I know, I'm crazy. She's so sweet, she called me at 7:30pm to assure me it wouldn't happen. I was kind of embarrassed but she said she's heard it before.

Last night it go so much worse, I barely slept, now my head is congested too. Sandra doesn't want me to take any sudafed that will dry me up if I can help it or cough suppressant just yet. The GP said my lungs are clear, it's viral...ala no antibiotics.

Meanwhile I am miserable and hacking. Drinking tons of tea and doing saline mist up my nose. I know. TMI.

Thanks for letting me whine a little. I don't usually do it but I feel like dog doo and I'm tired. I am stll trying to be positive that I can get pregnant and still feel like this!!

I'm sory u r so sick. I know this sounds silly, but you can try putting a little Vick's vapor rub on your temples and behind your ears. I know that sounds crazy, but it really helps you to breathe and stop coughing for a little while!

I probably would have called the dr last night too...otherwise u would have been going crazy the whole night each time u coughed.

If it makes you feel any better, I was sick after my retrieval and after my transfer! I also had a cough/sore throat that they thought was viral. I then developed an ear infection and was put on antibiotics - but it still worked! So stay positive!!!

Oh no, sorry you are feeling crappy. And don't feel embarassed about emailing Sandra, I would have done the same thing.

You might want to try using a neti pot to rinse your sinuses. Not as gross as it sounds and it definitely made me feel better. I got sick around the time of my transfer too and I worried the same. Mine worked though and I pray your's does too.

Aw Patty, I'm sorry you're sick. I wish I knew of some home remedy, but it sounds like you're doing what you can. Hang in there!

Try a Neti Pot-they sell them at pharmacies or Sal-Aire-it is like snorting pool water, but it helps clear you out!

Wow, just like Kristin I was sick in my 2ww also. Maybe that's a good sign

Oh no, something must be going around. I've been the same way since Saturday. I as in bed yesterday by 8.

Well, I guess I can't argue with the success of the embryo transfer and being sick!

Actually, I got a message from another LIF'er on FB that it was a good thing b/c my immune system is suppressed and will give a better chance for one of those embies to attach.

I'm praying.
