Re: ideas for dinner?

Do you have a starting point? Like chicken or beef?

If you have a foreman grill, this is what I made last night:

Adobo Beef Cubes
Ingredients:
- Beef stew/cubes
- Adobo seasoning
- Sazon Accent seasoning (the white box, aka regular, or the "con Achiote"orange box)
- Garlic powder

*The seasonings listed above are what I tend to use for most of our meat and poultry - DH's and my parents are latino and the seasoning is very yummy.*

Directions:
- Turn on Foreman Grill to Medium

- Season beef with all three seasonings on both sides.
(DH likes to put all the beef in a big bowl and just season. I don't like to over/under season so I prefer to I lay it flat on a cutting board and lightly sprinkle each seasoning one by one on the beef, flip over and repeat).

- Place beef on grill and cook for 8-10 minutes (it cooks fast, so don't overcook).

- Serve immediately with rice, mashed potatos, or veggies.

Voila. Super fast, super easy, super tasty.

Note: you can substitue beef cubes for steak and follow the same directions. You may have to adjust cooking times a bit depending on steak thickness.

Another really easy recipe that tastes realllllly yummy is chicken legs/thighs with the same seasonings as above.

Adobo Baked Chicken
- Pre heat oven to 350 degrees

- Use either chicken drumsticks or thighs (with leg).

- Season both sides with Adobo, Sason Accent (the white aka regular kind), garlic powder. - A light sprinkle of each seasoning on each side

- Place in baking dish (we use a ceramic baking dish and cover with aluminum)

- Cook at 350 degrees covered for 45 minutes

- After 45 minutes, remove cover/aluminum

- Cook for an additional 15-25 minutes (depending on how golden/crispy you prefer it).

Voila! This was one of the first recipes my DH ever made on his own (he had never ever cooked before) and even from the first time he made it, it was super yummy.

We serve usually with rice and veggies, but use whatever sides you prefer with baked chicken.
