how do they let Texiera get all the way around from first???
Am I missing something?
And Manuel showed no emotion - again!
Seriously, something HAS to be done.
It's getting really hard to root for them when they do sh*t like that.

cuz they all stood there with  looks on their faces just like their fans! I don't think THEY even believed what was happening!
Tex really hustled- we noticed that. 
ETA: watching the encore- Castillo threw to second base and Tex was already rounding third. OOPS.
Watching it...I can't get over the hilarity I feel as a Yankee fan...and the sympathy I feel for Castillo as a human being. MAN I would NOT wanna be him.

because Texiera PLAYED like a major league ball player.. He knew there is that 1 in 100 chance a pop up COULD be missed, and hustled around the bases even though there were 2 outs.... That was a smart move.

i seriously almost puked after seeing that.. DH and I shut it off as soon as that ball fell to the ground. how PATHEDIC!!
and the funny thing is.. i was telling DH that if the tables were turned, the mets would probably not be runnning it out and the game would only be tied, IF they got that lucky

Texiera did exactly what baseball fundamentals say:
When there are two outs, you run on ANYTHING. You never know what's going to happen.
No hustle, no play. Just ask Reggie Jackson (1977, Boston).
