I agree. I'm interested in seeing how the writers make out his "softness" this season, though. I mean, would they really focus his character in that whole "being born-again" stuff?

Not only him, but how about anyone else?
I think that Tony will be killed by the end of the series... I dunno, but I think it's the only way to end the show. He can't go to jail, and it's not realistic for him to continue in the Mob forever... anyone else?

I figured he would get soft.......loved the Pauly part of the show...I also loved when Carmella told him to watch Vito! Im just glad he is out of the coma and the dream sequence stuff is over

I'm not sure that will happen just yet as this is not the final season. There is going to be another mini-season of like 5 episodes following this one.
I enjoyed last night's episode. I actually thought there were a lot of funny moments in it. As sick as Paulie is, he's always entertaining and I actually felt for him when he broke down crying. I don't remember what it was exactly but his response to the Priest's greeting was hysterical. Something like "Alot better than those nuns you have up there!"

I meant by the end of the show. This 'season' will only consist of 13 episodes, and the next will be 8 eps.

I think Tony will try to retire somewhere--- hence the foreshadowing from the first episode with that guy killing himself because he couldn't get out of the mob.
