Recommend resturants & activities re: Greece
If you have been to Athens, Mykonos and or Santorini can you recommend activities and or restaurants. FH and I are going on our honeymoon in 3 months and I want to start planning some things.

In Santorini, the best thing you can do is rent a car and go to Oia. That's the most beautiful part IMO. DH and I rented a car all day for 30 Euro and drove along the cliffs in Sanorini. Breathtaking. But walking in Oia is amazing. A lot of shops there and great cafes.
As for dining, def go to the cliffside restaurants in Fira. I have to check which one we ate at- the food was PHENOMENAL!
ETA: I was also in Athens. I hated Athens. I thought it was so dirty and just wasn't impressed AT ALL! The only impressive thing there is the Olympic Stadium, Plaka, and the Acropolis and some of the buildings there.
If you go to Plaka, there is a nice cafe that serves ice cream and really good Frappe's which is coffee. It's called Plaka Gate Cafe. Can't miss it. It's the first cafe on the right when you walk into Plaka. Right across from the cafe was a restuarant we ate it. Wasn't all that impressive. It's the first restaurant on the left of when you first walk on Plaka.
However, we knew people that ate at this really nice wine bar which is one block past Plaka Gate Cafe on the right hand side. It's very NYC like. I forgot the name of that place but it looked really good when we passed by.

We honeymooned in Oia (visited Fira and surrounding areas of Santorini) and loved it. We dined at 1800, Ambrosia, Scala and Katikies Restaurant (we stayed at Katikies). We visited a lot of local tavernas as well...the seafood is like nothing you've eaten before and the traditional Greek salad - I still salivate thinking about it (and we were there almost 5y ago LOL).
I wasn't impressed with the food in Athens...imo, you go there for the culture and hit the islands for the good food. I found Athens to be very tourist-driven (for obvious reasons) and thus the food wasn't as authentic as the island food was. Just steer clear of any restaurant that has someone standing outside trying to lure you in to eat. If they have to hard-sell you on their dining experience, you know it's not going to be good
