RE in Suffolk
Hello ladies. I was wondering if any of you knew of a good RE? I think it's about time I see one. Thank you.

Re: RE in Suffolk
I was seeing LI IVF in Melville/Stony Brook for a while. They are a big office with lots of resources and plenty of doctors. I'd give them a whirl. But if you're willing to travel to Woodbury, I'd definitely see Dr. Braverman. He's worth the trip
Good luck!

I agree, Dr. Braverman isn't that far over into the Nassau border. It's worth the extra 10 minutes.

Re: RE in Suffolk
I used Dr. San Roman at Reproductive Specialists of NY at the Stony Brook office. I loved him and I thought the whole staff was great! I started in Sept. of 2007 and was pregnant by New Year's. (Metformin and IUI) I know everyone has a different experience with doctors but I was very happy with them and I plan to go back when we start trying for #2. Good luck finding someone.

I agree I was not happy at RSNY at all. I see Dr. Braverman now at SIRM.

Re: RE in Suffolk
i was at rsny and while i was successful with them (twice but mc once with them) i was thinking of switching to braverman. Fortunatly i got pregnant again in January and didnt need to go to Braverman! I do have to say the staff was great at RSNY- the nurses were all wonderful and the drs were good too. I believe they as well as LI IVF do things one way .. Braverman however seems to think outside the box and investigates further - it seems he treats u as an indivudial vs being catagorized into a group.
I wouldnt just go for someone bc they are recommended or bc that person was successful. I would interview a few RE's until u find one that u are comfortable with as well as comfortable with the office staff, treatment, etc.
Good luck !!!
