Just back from Alaska
Although the trip was mainly to visit family we did head out to see some sights. They live in the Fairbanks/North Pole area and there isn't much to see, so we took a few road trips to Delta Junction, Denali and Tok. It's a beautiful time of year to visit. The weather was in the high 70's to low 80's for most of the trip. We only had a few days of overcast chilly weather.
The 21 hrs of daylight were a little tough...but once I hung towels on the windows we were able to sleep

No we didn't stay there and unfortunately we didn't go through Denali this time. Just walked around the shops in the area. I wanted to but nobody else was really interested.
When I was there in 2005, my daughter and I took a bus tour (about 6 hrs) through the park and it was incredible.

Alaska is amazing. I went 9 years ago on a cruise. It was my graduation present from my Parents. AMAZING! The sights are unreal.
