Easy-"go to" recipes?
Do you have any "go to" recipes for when you have no time or haven't been food shopping, that is easy & quick?
Mine are pasta w/ broccolli, EVOO, garlic & grated cheese or blt's (we always have the precooked) or grilled cheese & soup. Usually just do a quick broth, add carrots, celery, onion, & some herbs. Add orzo or tubettini & serve w/ grated cheese.

Re: Easy-"go to" recipes?
Easy "go to" recipes for me:
Pizza (If i already have leftover sauce) I buy the pizza dough from Trader Joes. It's delicious Tacos (chicken or beef) BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs (side salad and grilled corn)
For me it's tough sometimes. DH is really picky about certain foods.

Pasta Chicken cutlets Tacos Burgers
One recipe I made last night that was SO quick and easy and really yummy:
Brown 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey Add the following to the skillet: -1 cup instant brown rice -2 cups water -1 packet taco seasoning -1 cup corn -1 cup salsa -1 packet dry ranch dressing mix (optional) Cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Top with shredded cheese (or mix it in, which is what I did). Can also top with crushed tortilla chips.

Whatever we can throw on the grill!! Steaks, burgers, pinwheels, chicken etc.
Also Taco's, baked chicken, homemade pizza, grilled chicken ceasar salads, pasta w/broccoli, garlic, & oil. Another cool thing is Bisquick has this little recipe book you can find by the check out counters at the grocery store. It has a bunch of quick easy recipes that are good!!
