Clomid
Has anyone tried clomid w/o IUI? I'm on my 3rd just clomid cycle & not sure if we are wasting our time.

as far as I know the doc said we will probably jump into IVF if the 3rd cycle of clomid doesnt work. I am taking provera now to start AF and then starting my third cycle of clomid (150mg)

I did 2 cycles of clomid with iui. This month was hectic for us, so we just did clomid without iui..... I think after the third you should consider having it done with an iui.. Good luck!!!!!

I was kind of thinking the same thing. When we first started we said we would try just clomid for 3-4 months and see how that worked & if it didn't we would then start IUI. So we'll see what happens after this month.

My friend just used clomid and that did it for them, but everyone is different. What does your doc suggest?

One Dr. said to do what we think is right for us & another dr. (at the same practice) said she would never clomid w/o IUI. It was really our choice to do just clomid right now. We kind of told ourselves we would do just clomid 3-4 months. This is month 3...we'll see what happens.

We tried two cycles with clomid and timed intercourse. We were unsuccesful. Our twins were conceived using clomid/trigger/IUI

DD was conceived with Clomid and without IUI.
Have you had an HSG to ascertain that your tubes are clear? I was actually scheduled for one, but needed to cancel the appointment at the last minute. Luckily, it turns out I didn't need it

<------------------ DS was conceived on my 3rd IUI/Clomid 150 cycle ...
We had done 5 cycles of Clomid w/ timed BD and nothing...I think with us, the "drying" effect Clomid had on my CM made it impossible for the swimmers to get where they needed to go, so IUI did the trick

I did have an HSG and my tubes are clear. Is it possible that we have so much going on that our bodies are preventing us from getting pregnant?!?!

We tried clomid without IUI for 3 cycles and it didn't work. The following year I went to see an RE and he put me on clomid, monitored everything, did the ovidrel shot and 2 back-to-back IUI's and we got pregnant our 1st cycle. Good luck!
