Baby Presents
I'm posting this question here b/c I figured you gals would have experience with this....do you buy a gift for a friends new baby if you gave a shower gift (and the shower was just a couple weeks before the baby was born?)
And for another friend, she is having a bris, so do I give a gift for that even though she had a small shower a few weeks back to which I gave a gift?

I do. I bring something when I visit the baby for the first time. It's usually something small like a couple of outfits.

Yes, I give a shower gift as well as a gift when the baby comes home from the hospital. Like an outfit or something not too expensive.
