How long does it take for the trigger to
test negative on an HPT? Like, how many days after you take the trigger?

I've tested negative around 7-9 days after.

It depends which trigger...
Ovidrel typically has less hCG than the IM triggers like Novarel.
I tested at 8 DPO (9 days post trigger) after an Ovidrel and had a negative HPT - and didn't test until 10 DPO (12 days post trigger) after Novarel and had a negative HPT (didn't test out trigger before then though)

General rule is 1,000 units per day are passed out of yout system, so 10 days for 10,000 units.

It stayed in my system longer. I still had it at 11dpo.... I would really try and hold out till 12dpo.
