Zoey is HOME! 5/28 **UPDATE**
My Rottie, Zoey is having surgery to repair her ACL today. I dropped her off at 6:30 am today and I broke down crying when they took her from me. I have tears right now just typing this.
I know it's not fatal, and with some rehab'ing she will be fine. It's just hard, after losing Schultz only a month ago.
I think this is harder on me then her!
Please send your best wishes and prayers to my little black dog for a speedy recovery.
PS..her mother could use a glass of wine right now!!! LOL.

**UPDATE: Dr. called, Zoey came through surgery beautifully, she's awake and resting. I can pick her up tomorrow afternoon. She will have a long recovery but should be fine!
5/28 UPDATE - Dr. called this morning. She was doing great, walking on the leg already, doctor was surprised and thrilled.
I pickedher up at 4:30. She really is in so much pain, it breaks my heart. but she's home and one the mend!

Awwww! I know just how hard it is.
Especially after all you just went through. 
I cried too when I dropped my baby off to be neutered. I felt like an azz because it's a simple procedure and I knew I was doing a good thing for the kitty, but still... it's your baby and it's having surgery... of course you are going to be upset and nervous.
Here are some prayers and good wishes that all goes smoothly and your baby is home with you again and on the mend real soon!

You are right, these things are MUCH worse on us humans than on the animals! Glad she is ok!
