Re: going for keratin 6/4
I bought the special shampoo when I had it done last year. Be warned that it doesn't lather up at all, so you'll feel like your hair is not really getting clean when you wash it. It comes out looking great though after you dry it.

Re: going for keratin 6/4
yeah you have to use the special shampoo & conditioner. i'm actually on my 2nd set of bottles and i had it done 9 months ago. i would use the stuff your salon gives you. the shampoo doesn't contain a certain chemical, which i can't remember the name of right now. there are other shampoos that don't contain this chemical, but i felt more comfortable using the one my hairdresser told me to. it doesn't lather, so don't be surprised. your hair is getting clean!

Re: going for keratin 6/4
my salon gave me 2 huge 16 ounce bottles of Soma Shampoo and conditioner
I got the brazliian treatment that u dont have to wash your hair for 24 hours.
It was so much easier for me, because i have to wash my hair everyday

Re: going for keratin 6/4
I definitely would. It helps to maintain the treatment. I used the Keratin brand last year when i did it and I really believe it made a difference. I am getting the treatment done again this Thursday and I will def be getting the shampoo, conditioner and serum again. Think about it this way - all that time and money you spend to have this done - don't you want to make sure you get the most for it??
