should we just go?

I really feel like I could use a vacation before the baby comes, but DH doesn't think we should spend the money. Since my family owns timeshares, we can go stay at our one in Orlando for a week and just kind of hang at the pool and take it easy- just a little break from reality. I figure the trip (not including spending) will cost us under $600 (air, car rental, timeshare exchange) I think that's pretty reasonable, and even though DH says he doesn't need to go away, he agrees that the price is right. Should I just go ahead and book it?

I wouldnt book it unless he agrees with it because it will only cause problems.

Re: should we just go?

YES! Go now! Dh and I debated going to Hawaii and we were both so glad we went. Yes, the money could be spent on something for the baby, or something else for the house, etc., etc., etc. However, the alone time we spent together in Hawaii just chilling out, watching sunsets, and connecting with each other was just what we needed. I am BIG believer of making time for you and your DH and once the baby comes "alone time" for the two of you will not happen for a while. This is the last vacation the two of you will have alone for a while.
I hope you decide to go, especially at that fabulous price!

He already told me to book it of I want to. He's the kind of person who says he doesn't "need" a vacation, but he knows I do and he loves them as much as I do once I go ahead and do all the planning.
I just want us to have a relaxing time together before I get too big to enjoy myself. Plus I know it will be a while before we get to go away alone again.

I say definitely go. It will be the last vacation for just the two of you or the last vacation where you won't be leaving one of the most important things in your life behind.

Enjoy!
