2night 3day vac ideas

sometime in the summer i would like to go away with my dh with out the kids and we live in suffolk county really don't want to drive more then 4hrs away. Any suggestions?

you can go to mystic ct ( you have the sea port and stuff there , lancaster pa (lots of train stuff for the boys),

drive to nj shore some really nice beaches there.

we thought of nj shores but we are NOT taking the kids Lancaster was nice we actually took the boys there I think last yr or the yr before. They loved the Thomas stuff. Thanks

When we come to NY in July, we're going to leave the kids with my parents and go to Newport, RI.

Wow that looks really nice! Are there alot of things to do around there?




We really do to much while we where up there. We did go to a few local farmer markets. And we drove to lancaster one day that was about 20 minutes from the B&B. We also went to eat at a few local restaurants that they recommend to us. But when you walk into the B&B on the left hand side they have tons of brochures of the local area.

We wanted to do hershey but didnt get around to it and i think thats about 45 minutes fromt he B&B
