we use ace paint...it's really good quality and so much cheaper then Benj. Moore

no-VOC. Unfortunately, there aren't that many out there. There are plenty that claim to be zero VOC (BM, for example), but they really aren't.
If you can't get zero VOC, very low VOC is almost as good.
I used http://www.mythicpaint.com/. My painter liked the way it covered, how easy it was to use, and the fact that there was no smell. about 7 months later, and it's still holding up very well.
