Finally closing!!
We're closing on Wednesday the 20th! Also doing walk-through the morning of.
Any tips/reminders would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you call the water authority and LIPA to change the billing over. It's not cute when you are going through your walk through the morning of your closing and they come to shut off your water and power :) We had no clue we could call before we closed - apparently this happens a lot.

Thank you! Thankfully the homeowners are already on top of this...they told us about it a few weeks ago and they gave us the info of who to call and when to call. They're going to call first and then we'll call right after them. Luckily the homeowners have been awesome through this whole process and VERY helpful!!

EXTREMELY excited you have no idea!  It has been a very long road for us to get to this point and honestly it has been the most painful experience ever to buy a house - but it's all worth it in the end.

Congrats!
Def. switch over the LIPA and water for the day of closing. And don't forget your drivers licences and your personal check book.
