Does everyone think you are made of money?
B/C you don't have children? I am soooooooo sick of this esp from DH'S family
members......comments like o well you can do that b/c you don't have kids .
Or family members assuming that we are treating or they can borrow money from us
since you have no obligations.

that is truly annoying. friends of ours have made comments like that. we're not made of money at all but we're very responsible so we can go away or buy some nice things once in a while.
i'd be really mad if anyone assumed we're paying at dinner! nerve!

you should respond to them..."well we might not have kids to spend it on BUT we need all of our money to support our drinking/drugs/sex addiction habit"

Yes, my BIL (DH's bro) thinks we are made of money and feels free to try and spend it for us.
It's very very annoying.

I have a certain co-worker that I get this A LOT from. She is always saying things like "oh you can do that because you don't have kids."
I'm a full-time grad student. Do I look like I'm made of money?
