How long did you wait before trying again?

One dr told me to wait two full AF cycles.

Another said try right away.

It doesn't seem safe to try again so soon.

there is really no set time of when to start trying.. but i would definitely wait until AF comes back and then try after that.

i was told to wait 3 months... i just couldnt wait that long

I answered on your other thread, but I waited until I got AF before I started trying again.

We tried right away, and were successful.

Since it took 3 months for my AF to come back (I had an ectopic and had to take shots), we tried right away.........still trying over 15 months later

I had a m/c at 8 weeks. I waited for my next AF and went right back to the RE to prep for another FET.

I'm sorry for your loss.

There is no physical reason to wait, but a lot of docs will tell you to for mental reasons. I think I have to agree, but I know it's tough because you just want to be pregnant again.

My personal experience was: m/c last July, tried again right away, conceived in August- m/c that one in October. Tried again right away and had a chemical. It really messed me up mentally. We sat out until after Christmas, which let me get myself halfway sane again and conceived again around New Years with what seems to be our sticky baby.

You really have to make sure you are okay emotionally before jumping back in (this is just my opinion, of course.) I am so sorry you are going through this.

Mine told me to wait two cycles also. I think it was good for me both physcially and emotionally. Lucky me - I just found out I'm pregnant after my first cycle trying again! It took me much longer the first time around.

My doctor also told me to wait until I got my 2nd AF.

I'll be honest, I was ready to try again after the 1st one, but DH felt it was better to heed her advice especially if, God forbid, something went wrong again (and even if it were unrelated, I'd always question myself, KWIM?). So we did wait until the 2nd month.

One dr. told me to wait 2 cycles and my regualr OB told me there was no need to wait more than one cycle...nothing different would happen after 2 cycles vs. 1. I also learned you don't have to have a cycle to get PG again...

My Dr. told me to wait until I got my first AF then try. He said normally, they would suggest that you wait 2 cycles but because of my ages, times a wasting!

we started trying 2 weeks after the D&C and are PG again! I never even got AF again.
