New walkway!
So, while I posted tons about our house search, I've been so busy working on our new house that I haven't had time to post that we closed on our home about a month ago! We repainted the entire house, DH and a friend are installing wood floors in the living and dining rooms, and we are gutting one of the bathrooms.
Two weeks ago we had the cracked cement front walkway replaced with brickwork...I love it! I don't have any before pics, but here's an after (kind of fuzzy cell phone pic!)...

Yes! You'll have to come by and see the entire "after"! The wood floors make a HUGE difference in the living and dining room!

Re: New walkway!
looks great-I grew up in a house just like that...an L-shaped three bedroom 2 bath ranch on a slab! I recognize the porch & arrangement of the windows & front door!

Yes, that's exactly it! The L-shaped ranches are really more spacious than they look from the outside--ours is nearly 2,000 sq. ft.
