As if I don't dread the dentist enough...

I am having a terrible time finding a new one up here who takes my insurance. I don't want to drive the hour+ down to Queens to see the old one...

Maybe it's worth it, if you really like your dentist. I love my dentist so much, I would definitely drive here to see him, even if I were an hour away..it's only a few times/year. MAybe you can combine it with another trip to see family/ friends or shop at a favorite store.

Have you tried asking your dentist for a referral? or the health insurance website?

In 1 office I work in, there are patients from CT, NJ and Westchester that drive in on saturdays to nassau just for him. Good luck

I found someone in Westchester, but can't get an appt till the 13th of April.

My old person in Queens was really nice, but not the most effective. I was and still am tempted to drive all the way out to Bellmore to my old dentist because she was the best. Though she doesn't take my insurance.
