Question about UGGS

I want to buy a pair of UGG boots because I've wanted them for awhile, didn't want to spend the $, but have a gift card I need to use

I don't like the tall ones, they're too high for me (especially because I'm short)

but I can't decide between classic mini and classic short...anyone have either and like/dislike either? I'm not near anywhere I can try either on
It seems like the mini would be easier to put on, but might be too short to tuck jeans into or keep snow out of...



Also, how do they run size-wise?

I like the short ones. They are perfect to tuck into jeans. I am a 7.5 and I bought a 7 in one pair and an 8 in another. Zappos.com usually tells you whether you should order a size up or down depending on the boot type.

I would go for the short. I am a 6 1/2 or 7 and i buy a 6 in my uggs.

I have a few pairs of the short because I too am short and these are the best height for me! I do not like howit feels to have somethign around my ankle, and that is how the mini's are. I like having the warmth a little higher up when it's cold out!

I am a size 8-8.5 in shoes and have a slightly wide foot and I have all my Uggs in a size 7. They fit perfectly at first and they do stretch out quite a lot when the furriness inside of them levels out.

I had minis first that I wear all fall/winter outside and as slippers - no tucking in though.

I wanted a pair in black to wear with leggings and tried on Tall and Short and went with the Short. I ended up not wearing them nearly as much as I thought because IMO they weren't tall enough ... they just hit my lower leg in the wrong spot (and I am not tall and have shorter than longer legs).


I wear a 7 or 7.5 and size 7 Uggs fit me perfectly - size 6 was way too small.

I have the mini's and the shorts...

The mini's are easier to wear under jeans, but you can't really tuck jeans into them.

The shorts are soo comfy, and you can tuck the jeans into them, plus you can always fold them down, but they're visable under jeans if you don't tuck them in!

Size wise, I have one pair in 8 and one pair in 9 (I'm an 8 1/2). If you have wide feet, go the size up. Otherwise, they'll form to you!

just wanna say I am SHORT (5') and I wear the tall uggs and love them!

You can roll them down if you think they are too tall for you and they are really cute like that too! I have Ultra tall, they have the best tread on the snow. The classics are more slippy/slidey they are made for the sand, oddly enough.

I bought the classic mini.. they look really cute with leggings!!! I wear a 7 1/2 but bought a 7 and they are fine

i say get the short! you can tuck your pants in or where them under your jeans!....(i have tall and short)

i am short and have the short ones and tall one. i think either would be good. not sure about the mini.
