So I google "giving seltzer to plants" to see

if I could share with my Bony.

Sometimes when I'm drinking that deliciousness, I see my plant looking at me all weepy-like and I want to spread the wealth.

So I google it to see if it's safe for me to share with Bony and the first site I click on is for growing pot plants.

The site was rollitup.org. Chat Icon

So if you got this far - you think it's safe for me to share the fizzy?

My friend swears that her grandmother was a great keeper of houseplants, and her key to success was that she always put the dregs of her cups of tea and coffee (with milk and sugar please) into her houseplants...

I say seltzer would be okay!!

Oooh - that second link says to mist it with seltzer - because the leaves soak up the CO2. I'll definitely start doing that. We usually have enough seltzer on hand to quench the thirst of a small army.

Rachee - thanks for your grandma's tip about tea - I ALWAYS have tea leftover at work. I never drink it fast enough for it to stay hot.

Thanks!!!
