What do you pay for a bagel with cream cheese at a bagel store?
Plain cream cheese, not the fancy kind. Plain bagel.

In Manhattan, it could be a week's pay. Then again, they give you enough cream cheese to stucco your house.

The price of cream cheese skyrocketed mid last year when oil was super high and stuff like Milk was over $4.00 a gallon. This was a legit increase (at the time).
Of course now that the price of Milk is back down to normal, this is one of those cases were business owners haven't adjusted their prices back down as they want more profit.

The last time I bought one of these was about 5 years ago and I remember it was under $1.25. I can imagine how much the price has gone up since then!
