What kinds of flowers do you have in the front of your house?
I may be overly excited with our inspection coming up on Sunday but I have been looking at different types of flowers and such to plant in the front yard (fingers crossed   ) -
What types of flowers do you have planted in the front of your house?
I am looking at Red, White and Pink Tulips to plant in Oct/November and I love a Cherry Blossom tree in the middle of the yard... I am looking for other ideas for flowers that bloom when Tulips aren't blooming  TIA

I normally plant inpatiens. Last year I also planted petunias on both sides of my walk way.
This year I am going to plant hosta's - and a bunch of different perennials.
For down my walkway I am thinking of doing some type of grown cover. I am not sure what yet....

Thanks - I am going to google the images now - The house we are looking into - just has mulch in the front - looks super clean, but not how I pictured our home.. KWIM? Im thinking bunches and bunches of flowers

We took out bushes in this area, THICK bushes that covered the whole front of the house. I just put this flower bed here, but I still need to fix the lawn (where the original owners dug up the lawn to do something to the septic tank) and I need to put a border in to hold the dirt in.
These were spring flowers, daffodils, tulips and hyacins(sp?).
I'll be putting different flowers in to dress up this area this summer.

I have daffodils in the spring, I plant impatiens in the late spring. I also have hydrangea's in various colors.
We also have one small japanese maple tree and a maple tree with holly bushes all around that bloom with red berries in the spring.

creeping phlox!! i love creeping phlox but don't have anywhere to put them.

right now we have tulips and a few daffs left. Ill be planting impatients, we also have black eyed susans that will bloom in the summer.

I love them too! My neighbor just told me today that she is going to give me some to grown in my yard.
