Re: Look what I did...
OK I got one for the dining room -- If music be the food of love, play on - Wm. Shakespeare. And it was a BEOTCH to get to stick!! What did we do wrong?? And yes I got the same ones, from Kohls.
Also put in Ale's room --
Some people dream of
ANGELS
I hold one in my arms.
She peeled off every single letter
PS looks great

Kara...oh man...why was it hard to apply the letters in the dining room? That sux.
This is what I did...step by step with the letters that came in a tube from Kohl's:
* Opened the tube
* Unrolled and layed out the phrase on my dining room table for a few minutes until it didn't start rolling back into itself.
* Cut apart the phrase as I didn't want one long continuous sentence...I wanted it broken up (see pic).
* Used that credit card like plastic thing and pressed down on the letters so it stuck to that white masking tape cover.
* Peeled off the shiny yellow paper
* Stck the making tape with letters to the wall, making sure they were straight- used a level.
* Used that credit card plastic thingy again and went over every single letters, several times...and used pressure.
* Carefully started rom one corner and lifted the masking tape.
* Went back with my finger and just "smoothed" over the letters on the wall.
* Repeat with all pieces.
Took me 15 minutes from start to finish.
Letters went on really easily.
Kara...do you have smooth walls or are they textured? If textured, I would imagine it would be harder to adhere.
And what did that little missy do to her letters?
