It's official- I'm going to Jamaica alone
My friend that I booked with had to cancel because of money reasons, so now I'm going on my own. There will be tons of people at the resort once I get there, I'm going for a destination wedding, but I'll have to do all of the flying and the bus transfers alone.  I'm not mad at my friend, but I am a little annoyed since it now seems that she had an idea this may happen when we booked. Everyone else is going for longer, but I was only able to go for the weekend because of work resons. I would have tried to make someone else go with me or make arrangements to miss a day of work.
Oh well, at leats I'm still going.

Hopefully you'll have a great time once you get there, and it'll make up for the solo travel time.

I am sorry that she has pulled out! But enjoy spending the time alone! Bring some books and enjoy the quiet time!!

That's exactly my plan. I can't remeber the last time I read a book. And the perk of flying Air Jamaica is free booze!
