cars?
What type of car do you drive?
We have a jeep and a truck - we are thinking about getting rid of the truck to save $$. We are looking at sedans. How fast do you think we will grow out of the sedan?

Re: cars?
we have a Nissan Altima and a Chevy Trailblazer and going to keep them, Im also going to have 2 car seats filling them.
I have a question, should I buy 4 car setas, or buy 2 and get 2 bases, so I can put them in my car if I have to??

i think it would be great to have 4 seats but thats lots of $$$ so I would do two seats with 2 extra bases. Plus if your going out with friends and need to make room in your Traill Blazer for them, you will need to find room in your house or garage for the 2 extra seats - JMO

Thats what I would do as well.
eta - to answer the original question. We currently have a Altima and a Jeep Cherokee. Since my Cherokee has 125,000 miles on it - we will most likely get a new truck for me.

We own an Excursion, so we're set there.
and
we currently have a 3+ lease on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We figure that should hold us over for the next few years.

Re: cars?
right now all we have is a ford focus. it's two door- so we will DEFINATELY need a sedan. I am not sure what we will get- something with great gas mileage. Maybe a Ford Fusion or Pontiac GT. we'll see. we probably won't buy a car until we need it (September-October)

Re: cars?
I have a 97 maxima and FH has a 2005 jeep cheroke and a 2001 mustang. My car is getting old so if we could afford it, I would like to get an suv. However, I'll probably keep it because its still roomy enough to hold at least 2 kids and 2 adults and its great not having another car payment.

Re: cars?
I had a Passat before Emma was born and it was great with just one kid. I got an Acura MDX the June before Jeremy was born... I couldnt imagine having a smaller car with 2 kids!

Re: cars?
We have a Hyundai Santa Fe. I love it and think it's perfect for the baby. JT drives a little Saturn, so the days that he is home with the baby, I'll just leave the Santa Fe.

I drive a 2006 Mercedes E Class...I love it, however, the back seats are not the roomiest, but it will do for now.

Re: cars?
I just upgraded to an 06 GMC Envoy in anticipation of baby #2. WE are set with cars because DH can pick whichever he wants when he comes home each night, within reason

Re: cars?
we have an Audi A4 and a pathfinder. love them both, especially with the AWD, but the leases are both up next january/february. we'll probably end up with another SUV or a wagon- i'm thinking a highlander, a murano, or an outback maybe. we'll also get another, less expensive, sedan- its so hard to find one with AWD. we live in northern jersey & the snow can be awful.
