How much spending money to budget for...

a 10 day trip to San Francisco??? Just spending money. We will be eating all meals out...hotel does not include breakfast.

What kinds of restaurants do you like? Are do you want the best of everything or are you willing to do pizza for lunch? I would budget 10-15 per person for breakfast, $10-20 per person for lunch, and $20-45 per person for dinner or $40-80 per person per day. Of course if you like to drink, I would tack on another $20-40 depending upon the amount you like to drink. As for entertainment - I would budget $75 - 150 per person per day depending upon the places you are going. So for ten days per person I would budget $400-800 per person for just food adding another $200-400 for drinks and $750- 1500 for entertainment. So a total of $1550-2700. This is not including snacks or gifts.

I went to San Fran for 6 days. Between airfare/hotel/tours/dining out/misc. I spent $1000- I went on 4 tours- there was a diner across the street from the hotel ate there for bkfst each morning-
