Call your airline to verify what their requirements are.
I believe for domestic flights, most airlines say 90 minutes - 2 hours before.
For international flights, it's usually 3 hours before.

I'm in the car svc business - I go by:
Hour before for domestic
2 hours before for int'l.

i usually play it safe and get there 2 hours before a domestic flight.. and 3 for international.
