chicken still good??
Ok.. so ILs are coming to visit for the weekend  i'm planning some meals. They'll be here tomorrow when i get home from work- so i was going to go grocery shopping today on my way home.
I want to make a chicken dish for them on sunday night-- if i buy chicken this afternoon, will it still be good on sunday night? or is that pushing it?? I can always go get it this weekend, but i'm trying to limit my trips to the store...

You could always freeze it tonight and defrost it for Sunday.

yeah.. i thought about that, too-- i freeze meat all the time. Thats probably what i'll do, then i don't have to worry about it...

I think it will be fine. I wouldn't freeze it and then defrost it for two days.
