Skull on St. Gerard medal
At the GTG a few weeks ago we got to talking about our St. Gerard medals. I mentioned that I didn't like that they had skulls on them, which came as a surprise to the ladies I was chatting with. Some of them are smaller and it is hard to make out the skulls, but IMO it is clearly visible on mine.
I scanned it so I could show you. The quality of the scan isn't great, but I think you can still see it... (lower right)

OMG, Jen, I can see it. That is pretty creepy...I think its time for a different medal. Mine doesn't have that

I have a St. Gerard statue and it has the skull near his feet. It does seem a little creepy!

I can't believe this was still on your mind!! Too funny. I did notice it more on the prayer card though. Some theories are that it has to do with his whole ill-health saga.
