RE appointment tomorrow UPDATED 4-9-09
I am so nervous. I don't know what to expect. My parents are visiting for the week and I haven't even had time to prepare myself (maybe a good thing). I just am so afraid that the doctor will say "You will never have kids". I know it's so irrational, it's just my worst fear. Did anyone else feel this way before their first appointment?

Update: I had my appointment at 1pm. My husband was so supportive, I was so nervous in the waiting room. It was all for nothing because the doctor was so nice. She looked over all my charts, medical history. She didn't even think I was overboard with all of my notes/questions. We are going to do all of the testing (SA, CD3 bloodwork, HSG, Ultrasound and Progesterone levels ) Which should take one cycle, then we will meet again and review the findings and make a plan. Thanks for all of your helpful advice and supportive words. I did my deep breathing  I feel excited and relieved.

Take a deep breath in and let it out.
I was the same way when I went to my first appointment. I didnt knwo what to expect, I was expecting to hear the worst.
My DR.....and the entire staff........made me feel so comfortable. The DR explained everything to me.
Best thing I did was write down questions that I had so I remembered them. Ask as many questions as you want!!
Ita natural to be nervous but it will be okay!!!

good luck!!!! It's ok to be nervous but just know that you will have a plan and answers when you leave, ask questions. Everyting will be ok!!

Good luck!!! We were nervous too but the Dr gave us hope and we felt so much better afterwards bc we had a plan!
