DH wants to go visit his Mom, Dad, Aunt, & Grandpa in Florida. His B-day is next month and I was thinking of surprising him with plane tickets. Does anyone know of any good deals/promotions?
He's talked about staying with his folks (1/2 hour from Disney), but part of me wants to see if we could afford to stay at a hotel (so we can also be romantic & more comfortable). Also, not sure if it would help but he is a government employee (NYPD ). TIA!

We just got tickets on continental for 179 per person for Newark to Tampa for May. Try looking at farecast.com or kayak.com for flight info they will also tell you the days that are the least expensive. So far 179 is the least expensive I have seen. That includes taxes and fees.

Definitely try Southwest...we are going to FL in a few weeks, and I think we paid $300 roundtrip for both of us.
