Carnival Miracle/General Cruise Question
So we are thinking of booking a cruise for Septemeber..the Carnival Miracle for 8 days in the bahamas..now I have never been on a cruise b4 so does anyone have any first timer advice...
also i kno this is insane but um do the waves get so high that they can basically go over the boat and kill you all? 
yes this is what i think of!!!!

 Um, no, the waves do not go over the boat and kill you. Very rarely do you get into a storm on a ship, and I believe they will divert the ship to avoid it.
My advice, have fun and relax!!!! Cruises are fun. Make sure you go see the shows, they can be cheesy, but good. Go to the newlywed game show and the comedy nights. You'll have some good laughs.

ok do u know that i didnt even think they will obviously dock if the waves r really bad or like if a terrible storm comes , omg im an idiot LOL LOL..
i m trying to relax about it all but as much as i love trying something new i am all paranoid LOL..ty for ur advice!!!

exactly what neener1211 said, they will go a different route if they think they will hit a storm. We are going on that same cruise in July. Cruises are lots of fun. You will enjoy it

We went on the miracle 09/22/08 for our honeymoon. it was GREAT.
-Go to every show. they were great
-eat breakfast in the dinning room
-at dinner in the formal dinning room if you end up not liking what you ordered, order something else. you can order what ever and as much as you like.
-try to make tea time at least once. but get their early it fills up fast.
-skip the art auction..unless you need a nap
-bring a water thermos with you. the ice tea, lemon aid and water are free but they have very small cups.
-same for tea or coffee
-relax and enjoy
