Re: Babylon Animal Hospital question
I took Petunia there up until she was 2 1/2 years old. We moved after that so thats why we left. I personally didn't have any negative experiences there.

Re: Babylon Animal Hospital question
They have been very good to our puppy. We've been going for just a few months but it's been very positive....and they know our little man's name when we call/walk in!

Oh I forgot to mention the best part. When we first got Petunia the vet thought that she would be blind in one eye. She had a very bad scratch on her eye but they helped her heal and her vision is fine!!!

Re: Babylon Animal Hospital question
The reason I asked is because I recently brought my 15 year old cat there after switching from the Bide-A-Wee in Wantagh (which, sadly closed...) they started treating her for a thyroid condition and put her on daily medication. When we went back just a few weeks ago for a checkup (she had been losing some weight) they took her "in the back" to do some bloodwork (out of my vision).
For DAYS when we brought her home, she was lethargic and sluggish... not really leaving her bed and not eating. It took her like a week to regain her energy and appetite, but now she is scarily thin and she has started losing her fur.
I know that she's 15 and that is a lifetime for many cats, but I can't help but think that she was OK before we brought her there... and for her health to change so drastically after one office visit? It just seemed weird.

Re: Babylon Animal Hospital question
We did not like them at all. We took our dog there after we got him from little shelter. They are affiliated with that animal hospital. I did not like the way they treated him when they took his stitches out from the neuter. And, he was going for a check up too. They didn't do a fecal exam. I decided to bring him to my vet for his next set of shots. She did a fecal exam and come to find out he had parasites. I just did not like them at all.
