Whitestone/Bayside Peeps
I use to belong to NYSC in the Whitestone Shopping. I eventually cancelled because it was getting ridiuclous with the price - $75 a month.
Which IMO was not worth it conseidering the class rooms were super tiny & there was ALWAYS a wait to get a space in the room for the more popular classes
Anyway, I recently joined GFC in College Point. I like it for what I paid for. There are no classes - just cardio machines and weights.
The problem is I'm getting SOOOO bored and in the past 2 weeks I have ducked out of going to the gym more than two times a week.
Does anyone take any classes outside of their gym in Whitestone/Bayside area? I was going to go check out HOT YOGA in Bayside and someone I know takes a kick boxing class for $10. I would like to try Zumba...outside of a gym.

I'm no help....I go to LA Fitness in Lake Success....I stopped going to GFC because my workouts lacked any variety.

I don't do outside classes even though I'm interested in them too but I got to Bell Plaza Sports Club on Bell Blvd. in Bayside, it's like half the cost of NYSC in Whitestone, it's open 24 hrs and very friendly people. You would think I would go more! But I def recommend it and they have a lot of different classes.
