DH took the wrong medicine!!!!

DH was instructed to take Doxycycline on the day that I started stimming (which is 8 days ago). So on that day, I reminded him that he had to grab Doxycycline from the box of med, and start taking it. He got the medicine from the box, took it, and we went on our merry way. But when I took out of box of med today to look for something, I found his Doxycycline laying right in the box! I freaked out, because I knew he is taking “something”… but not Doxycycline. It turns out that he got “Tetracycline” (which has MY name on the bottle) instead of his own med.

I tried to call the RE’s office, but they left for the day already. So I googled both meds, and found out they are both anti-biotic. It kinda eased my mind a little bit, but still… I just can’t believe what he did.

Seriously, I am on the verge of killing DH. He told me he doesn’t know how he ended up with a different medicine. He also said that he saw my name on the bottle, but he thought that since it was the RE that prescribed the medicine, so my name should be on the bottle… I knew I shouldn’t trust him, and should have checked the med he was taking…

I hope he is not screwing up our cycle by taking the wrong med…

I think it'll probably be okay, since they are both anti-biotics...just call the RE today

I would not worry at all about this.. They are both antibiotics.. I bet this is a good sign.. try to calm down I am sure the Dr will tell you the same..

Thank you, ladies. I called the RE's office this morning, and the nurse said it is OKIE. I just need to re-fill the prescription for myself.

The moral of this story for me is: Man = Child. You have to look after them!

Glad everything worked out ok. Sounds like something my DH would do
