just a FYI re: getting a passport

i read that the huntington station p.o . will be having a 'passport event'
date is 3/28 time is 8am -2pm

i don't think these things are quicker. it hink they just have all the forms available and people there to answer your questions when you apply for one.

to get one expidited, you pay extra, or if you want one in a day, you have to go to an office in Manhattan...there's also on in CT.

yeah, i know what you mean...i guess what i meant by quicker is that they have everything for you on hand to make the process go quicker (not quicker in the sense of how quickly you will get it back in the mail!)
i remember when i went to get mine....they had limited hours, there was only one person doing it, etc......it was kind of annoying so i thought this might be a better option for people:)
