Cruises
I found a pretty good price online and am wondering if it's better to book:
a. online b. from a travel agent c. direct from the cruiseline.
why/why not? TYIA!

Re: Cruises
I find it's easiest to get a price adjustment if you book directly with the cruise line or w/an agent.

Re: Cruises
It depends....
Who the online agent is - some are MUCH better or reliable than others.
Are you just booking a room with them or do you want to do air too (you are generally better to book your own air) b.c if you plan to do any deviations (come in a day early etc) you are better with someone you can at least speak with if there is a problem.
How great is the price -if you are not an experienced cruiser and want someone to hold you hand you might be better paying for a live person or at least the phone call - but if it is a BIG difference in price then you have to decide if you need that.

Re: Cruises
I booked my first cruise online through the cruise website and had no problems at all. It was so simple and I didn't have to pay any additional fees for a travel agent. It was great!

Re: Cruises
We found that Bestpricecruises.com had the cheapest prices the last two cruises we purchased. Sign up for a membership, there is a small fee, but you will save more (I think it's like $10 a year).
