What's the deal w/ IF and taxes again?
We're going to get our taxes done soon but I can't remember what we can use as a write off or whatever... does anyone know? I think copays to the dr and prescriptions, right? What about my IVF charge from the grant (our cost share).... sorry, I'm lost. I just want to make sure I bring the right stuff to the accountant. Thanks so much!

It should be any out of pocket medical expenses over 7% or 7.5% of your gross income. HTH!!

ANY out of pocket expense, except your insurance premiums, if you get those through your employer. This includes copays, any expense you paid that the grant didn't cover, and even travel costs to and from the doc for every appointment.
ETA - submit EVERYTHING to your accountant and let him/her figure it out, because until your taxes are comleted, you won't know what your adjusted gross income is, so you won't know what your medical expense cap is.

If you do a search online, you should find a long list. I read you could even write off pregnancy tests, eyeglasses, contact lenses, contact lens cleaner. If you have enough for the write off, make sure you include everything.
