Who sends DH to get his sperm checked?
Is it the RE or can an obgyn request the test also?

Either one can. If you go to an RE they will probably have him do it "in house". If an OBGYN sends him it may be through a lab or an Urologist. Good Luck!!

I made Dh an appt with a urologist tomorrow under the recommendation of my OBGYN. he was diagnosed with varicocele when he was young but never got the guys counted, so she said we should go see now that we're trying unsuccessfully.
the receptionist said they'd check him out, and then send him to a lab where he could bring a specimen for them to test. we should have the results in a few days.

As PP said, either should be able to send him. My gyn recommended a urologist, so that's where we went first.
