I'm so sad...
I know I did what I needed to do by bringing the kittens and their mom to save-a-pet, but I've cried every day since I dropped them off. I think of them sitting in cages, along with about 50 other cats that they have, and wonder how long they will be there for...
The mama cat was so upset when we got her there that she was hissing, growling and would not come out of the cat carrier. The owner of save-a-pet asked me to come back the next day for the carrier so as not to stress her out.
The carrier is still there. I can't bring myself to go back--I am too emotionally attached and I really feel like I let them down.

You didn't let them down!!! Just think about how their lives would be if you didn't take in that mamma cat. You changed their lives!!!

You did so much for those cats, you def. did not let them down.
Save a pet is a great organization, the owner, Dori, is wonderful. They have so many loving volunteers, I'm sure the cats will be fine and then they will soon find a forever home.
You are a very kind and generous person
