Would you eat it?

I took steaks out of the freezer on Monday night. When I bought them they went straight into the freezer. They were defrosted by Wednesday. I had other things come up this week so I never made them. Would you eat them tonight for dinner or should I just throw them away?

Re: Would you eat it?

I don't think I would. As much as it'd kill me to waste them, I'd be leery.

How do they smell before cooking them? If they smell fine, then I would cook them, otherwise I would toss them.

Re: Would you eat it?

thats only 3 days in the fridge, they should be fine since you froze them as soon as you bought them.

I would just smell, examine them to make they arent a funny color or something.

I'm a huge freak about things like that, its waht a degree in nutrition and food science will do.

I'd use smell to judge- I'm not so squeamish about expiration dates on food though.
