Buffalo, NY
We are going there labor day weekend for a wedding, and would like to stay an extra day. What is there to do?

I would definitely hop over to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls! We have friends that live in Buffalo and depending on where you'll be, you could be anywhere from 5-20 minutes from the border.

I grew up in the area - def go to the Falls - maybe even do the cave of the winds - although you'll get wet as you walk near the side of the Am. falls, or ride the maid of the mist to see the falls close and in person.
There is an amusement park on Grand Island that my family visits.
Check concerts in the area for HSBC Arena or Ralph Wilson Stadium, or take in a football/hockey game since Buffalo loves their teams.
You can't really go skiing yet, but that would be the other activity.

The Albright Knox Art Gallery is fantastic, that and a walk through the beautiful Delaware Park. Have a look at some of the Frank Lloyd Wright House along Jewett Parkway (there are several FLW houses in Buffalo), eat Steak and Eggs at Panos on Elmwood Avenue, and as I did almost every night during my 5 years at Buffalo State, finish your night at the Old Pink on Allen Street.
I love that city!!!
