I pass a Planned Parenthood on my way home from work everyday. I never really pay it much mind but yesterday I glanced over towards it while I was driving and noticed a sign that said "accidents happen" under the actual Planned Parenthood sign. I was like I just thought that was in very poor taste.

While I agree w/ you--- I think that they're trying to reach out to a younger crowd- and maybe that's their way of trying to get younger kids to come in who are either pg and don't wish to be or to teach them a form of birth control maybe (or just to get birth control- b/c accidents do happen). They def. could've chosen a more sensitive message though...

Yeah you know what - you're probably right. I guess maybe their logic was more to get across to the young people that "accidents CAN happen" as in telling them to take a preventative measure BEFORE anything happens. Good call Shannon

Even so, they should realize that a phrase like that can put people in an uproar- especially w/ all of the protestors who are against abortion. Not a smart phrase choice on their part... not for a sign anyway...
