do cruise ships do
weddings? i have been on 3 and i just can't remember! if so, what cruise line? and does anyone know the cost?

Yes they do - but I don't think once you are at sea only at port in certain ports etc. They can also arrange for you to do them on certain islands. I have no idea of the cost - but know that several have chapels on board. I would check out cruisecritic.com I know Princess does them - but I expect they all do in one form or another.
There is a posting board area over there and I have seen people discussing getting married while on a cruise but I don't have specifics.
The real catch is that if you don't get married at your starting port (on embarkation day) that you take a chance that the ship for one reason or another (hurricane, etc) might not make it to that particular island - and if you don't get to the island you DON"T get married. So it is a bit risky.
