Raw eggs in recipes...yay or nay?
DH brought me home a tiramisu recipe...someone at work made it and he loved it.
So he's been begging me to make it...but it asks for 6 yolks...then put in fridge for atleast 2 hours, no more then 8.
does that mean it gets tossed after 8 hours?
I drink egg nog, so I guess its the same...

I think it means it needs to chill at least 2 hours to soak the ladyfingers -- any more than 8 hours and they might be unpleasantly soggy, so it's best served before then. It will still be fine to eat, just not at its best.
I don't really fear raw eggs, but if you do you can find pasteurized eggs in some grocery stores.

Tiramisu can sit for a couple of days. Not sure why it says that on the recipe. You definitely want to use the eggs. It should call for the whites also, right?
